About Us
Wee Little Arts was developed by Melissa Bradshaw, an experienced, award-winning elementary schoolteacher with a degree in Art Education, as a response to the crisis in our nations education system. Melissa realized that students coming into elementary school had been under-served in the development of their fine motor skills, spatial skills, vocabulary and creativity that early art education encourages. Through her love for teaching and the importance of arts in education, Wee Little Arts was born.
Since 2000, the Wee Little Arts curriculum has been taught to thousands of children, consistently generating praise from parents and school directors in the Carolina’s, New Jersey, Texas, Tennessee, Virginia and recently Connecticut. These young, beautiful minds of preschool aged children express themselves, and their world around them by experiencing the premier visual arts program that Wee Little Arts provides.
